Peak Divide ONEr ‘24 Report
A photographic gallery of the second edition of the Peak Divide ONEr.
On 28 September 2024, 100+ souls set an obnoxiously early alarm so they could shuffle from Sheffield to Manchester for the second edition of the Peak Divide ONEr; a supported, 76km ultra fun run across the Peak District National Park. A city-city break with a difference.
Reminder:
PD ONEr - 76km in one day, from Sheffield to Manchester. Social, supported, ultra-fun-run.
PD CLASSIC - 76km over two days, from Manchester to Sheffield. Social, supported, ultra-fun-run.
How to sum up those 76km in 76 words?
Friday night Paella Perch-ing before Soreen and Speciality Kickback coffee for Saturday’s kick-off.
Kicking on, up and out of Sheffield.
Steeling yourselves for 76km.
Stanage sunrises. Cold bogs. Hot Vimto. Ladybower golden hour.
Edale barm. The calm before Kinder Low’s high winds.
Not so bueno on top.
But, out of the wind and into Stef’s soft-cheesy/parmesan/Hendo’s embrace.
It’s a journey not a race remember?
So after a pasta pause. A Tesco Express dash.
And a canal shuffle - it’s Track time.
Sonoma, slices and soft serve.
The Peak Divide. Down in ONEr.
